Since first amplifying her voice to gain attention in 2007, comedian Laura Sanders has traveled the nation begging people in clubs, colleges, bars, and even spaghetti restaurants – so many innocent bystanders – just begging them to like her. Sanders recorded her nearly hour-long album, Oh God Please Like Me, in front of a crowd of 200 at the beautiful Garden Theater in Columbus, Ohio. Sanders has also put in a lot of effort convincing people the album is worth buying. She's shared the stage with comedians such as Kyle Kinane, Rory Scovel, and Sandra Bernhard. Sanders was featured on Fox's LaughsTV, and in such acclaimed lineups as Chicago’s Comedians You Should Know, LA’s Hot Tub with Kurt and Kristen, Bloomington’s Limestone Comedy Festival, Wilmington's Cape Fear Comedy Festival, and more. Beyond stand-up, Sanders and writing partner Lisa Berry have created videos that have been featured on Funny or Die, BuzzFeed, Ryan Singer’s FlickMyClip festivals, and can be seen as a regular part of the sketch channel iFriendsandMy.
After the album recording, finding the amount of people that like her in Ohio satisfactory, Sanders moved to New Orleans to
manifest her destiny grow with a new scene. There she was a performer in Viceland’s Flop House recording, which will air in March, and is scheduled to perform at the Joy Theater with Matt Owens, Chris Trew, and more.
